iPhone 5 Prototypes Being Tested

A UK publication reported that Apple has already sent out the iPhone 5 prototypes to several wireless carrier companies to test the iPhone 5 before it gets mass produced. This test is to ensure that it is compatible and reliable across all the carrier networks. To keep the secrecy of the new iPhone’s features and capabilities, they are being secretly shipped in a black box. These black boxes are locked and placed on high security. These actions may seem extreme to some but Apple does not want the iPhone 5 to fall into the wrong hands and be exposed before Apple does so themselves.
Although it is not confirmed that the iPhone 5 is what really is in these black boxes, we assume it is since it is rumored that it will be released in the upcoming months. Only a few high staff people actually get to test and see its functions. The main focus of this testing is to check if it has any compatibility issues in the different networks. It should only take a few weeks of testing before they get the thumbs up for mass production. There may be delays if any issues are found in these few weeks of testing.
